‘Persia’ pushed back
Disney has moved back Mike Newell’s planned Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It was set to open June 19, 2009, one week before Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It will now open May 28, 2010, which is the week after Shrek Goes Fourth is scheduled and a week before Marvel Studios’ Thor.
Newell’s film, based on the popular video game, stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and our favorite, Ben Kingsley.

Should be a lot of platforms to jump around on. I loved the original game from the late 80’s and the new game was not bad either.
Should be a good kids movie….
